Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Was Never Going to Be Easy. But Did It Have to Get This Hard?

The issues is “likability.” This is not a universal attribute - it it is a one-on-one attribute. I see a guy like Chris Christie - and he comes across as a good guy, despite the fact that I disagree with him on very position he has taken. I agree with him on nothing, but I like him, despite detesting his politics. Hillary does not come across as likable - but agree with much of her politics. Bernie Sanders is likable to me - and I agree with much of his politics. Trump - nobody could find him likable apart from the leader of North Korea. What does likable mean: Would you enjoy an evening in a bar with this person?

Donald Trump's Campaign: The American People are Too Stupid to See Tax Returns

So the Trumpeter’s chief strategist is too stupid to read a tax return - as is the Trumpeter himself. When they do get released, he will say he did not know what the content was, and besides, nobody cares. Make America Stupid! “Trump’s campaign chairman and chief strategist Paul Manafort said during a recent interview with The Huffington Post: I will be surprised if he puts them out. I wouldn’t necessarily advise him to. It’s not really an issue for the people we are appealing to. His tax returns are incredibly complicated. I wouldn’t understand them, so how are the American people going to? “ Read more at:

The cult of ignorance in the United States: Anti-intellectualism and the "dumbing down" of...

Famous science fiction writer Isaac Asimov once said: "There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." Trumps rallying cry!

Kansas' experiment in conservative economics still a bust

The danger is that some time in the not so distant future the dissatisfaction with both elected officials and potential candidates on both sides of the aisle will well over into open rebellion with the support of the 2nd amendment. At some point people may become unhappy at having to vote for the least bad candidate for office, rather than the best.
