I think this guy is way off the mark. He seems to think that the "raw" image is closer to reality than some other images. However, the same image taken from the same position using different cameras will look very different - not to mention the variation that different raw converters will give from the same raw file. His idea of an objective reality is Platonic - but raw images do not capture Platonic reality - just images on a cave wall, with the images varying depending on the cave opening.
